Hello!​

My name is Kira Avolio and I am an artist and creative based in New York City. Born and raised in Athens GA, I have spent my whole life performing and cultivating my love for live theatre.​​

​

My senior year of high school was spent at the University of North Carolina School of The Arts, where I first began training for a career in the arts in the Drama class of 2021. I then continued my education at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where I graduated in May 2025 having earned a BFA in Musical Theatre with an emphasis in Directing. While at BoCo, I  discovered my love for directing and the power of shaping a story from offstage. Head over to my DIRECTING page to hear more about my journey as a new director! Most recently I performed in Wagon Wheel Center For The Arts' 70th season as The Narrator in Joseph, Rizzo in Grease, and in the ensembles of South Pacific and Sister Act.
